  dmc-1000 underwater multi camera

This product is not in regular production but it is supported by Deep Sea Systems.

The SEA MAX DMC-1000 Underwater Digital MultiCamera captures both high quality 3CCD (3-chip) digital video with 540 lines of stunning resolution and 3‑megapixel digital still photographs. The video and the images can be stored on an internal mini digital video (DV) tape, and a video output is provided for real‑time viewing and external recording. In addition, up to 85 images can be stored at the highest resolution setting of 2048´1496 pixels on the included 128MB secure digital (SD) card and later downloaded to a computer over a high speed universal serial buss (USB). The DMC-1000 is available in both the NTSC and PAL video standards and includes a 2.8 to 28 mm 10:1 power zoom Leica Dicomar lens with a 0.5 mm wide adaptor behind a flat Plexiglas view port. An optional long line video driver, which can drive up to two kilometers of RG‑59U coaxial cable, is also available.

Included with the DMC-1000 is an Operator Control Box and a Power/Interface Unit. The Power Interface Unit connects directly to the DMC-1000 and to the Operator Control Box with a 15-foot extension cable. From the Operator Control Box almost all of the camera functions can be remotely controlled over a two-wire RS‑485 serial interface, including the camera mode selections, zoom settings, recording and playback operations, and all of the menu selections.
